World Team Martial Arts was initially born as a Brazilian Luta Livre and MMA team.

Until his retirement as Coach, the teams led by Mestre Rolando Carrizo Ortiz in both sports achieved success in all the competitions in which they participated.

 

For example, in the case of Grappling, they obtained 5 Budokan Cup champion titles (the Luta Livre world championship and the toughest Grappling tournament in Brazil), being during those years, the best Luta Livre team in the world.

 

Their competitors and their triumphs are proof of the effectiveness of the technical development and teaching methodology led by Mestre Carrizo Ortiz are world class.
